St. Joseph Missions is a 24-hour staffed emergency shelter for single women in Fort Wayne, IN.  We provide a safe and secure shelter for up to 18 guests at any given time.  Our program, in conjunction with existing community programs and services offers in-house Case Management and enrichment classes to help our guests work toward self-sufficiency.  

A core principle of St. Joseph Missions is participants must be empowered to help themselves as well as each other. Through helping others, guests gain perspective that they are not women in crisis, but rather contributing survivors. Opportunities to help others with their struggles reinforces the dignity of each individual and creates a more holistic interdependent community. It’s our goal to find shelter guests a secure place to live within 45 days, along with connections to social services in the community to sustain them.
